In the town of Red Bank, home to nearly 13.000 résidents, a new measure aimed at making streets safer and encouraging responsible driving has been implemented. Thanks to community involvement and the attentiveness of local authorities, Radar speed sign EVOLIS Vision have been installed on two main streets to remind drivers of the importance of adhering to speed limits.

A Concrete Solution to Residents’ Concerns

On Leighton Avenue and Irving Place, streets often congested with fast-moving vehicles, the need for a lasting solution was evident. In response to numerous complaints from residents. the town of Red Bank took the initiative to install two EVOLIS Vision radar signs to address this issue. These devices usa an educational approach, reducing speeding by visually confronting drivers with their own speed displayed from a range of 50 to 300 meters. This method encourages gradual slowing down.

These radar signs do more than just signal speed violations; they directly interact with drivers for a tangible impact on behavior. They display a preventive message to those who adhere to speed limits, reinforcing good driving practices, and a warning to those who exceed the speed limit, serving as a reminder to slow down.
